A guide to nasolabial fold fillers with Danielle Mae
Soften the nasolabial folds with dermal fillers to restore smoothness, support, and natural balance to the mid-face.
This gentle treatment refreshes your expression by reducing deep smile lines and replenishing lost volume — creating a softer, more youthful appearance while maintaining natural movement and expression.

Nasolabial fold filler is designed to soften the lines that run from the corners of the nose to the mouth, often called smile or laughter lines. These folds naturally deepen over time due to volume loss in the mid-face, skin laxity, and repetitive facial movement. Using premium hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal filler, the area can be gently restored to create a smoother, fresher appearance while maintaining your natural expression. Treatment focuses on replacing lost support rather than overfilling the lines, helping to lift the mid-face and rejuvenate the overall appearance. This treatment is ideal for clients noticing deeper creases or sagging in the lower face who wish to restore softness and balance without changing their features. Results are immediate, with minimal downtime, and typically last 9–12 months depending on individual skin quality and product choice.
A personal note....
When I look at the mid-face, I never see nasolabial folds as an isolated area to “fix” — I see them as part of a much bigger picture. These lines are often the result of natural changes in the cheek structure over time. As we age, the fat pads in the mid-face begin to descend and lose volume, which can cause the skin to fold gently towards the mouth. For many people, nasolabial folds are also hereditary and completely normal — they’re a natural feature of the face and often appear even in youth when we smile or express emotion. My approach is always about softening, not removing these folds. By assessing how the cheeks, volume distribution, and facial structure contribute to their depth, I can subtly lift and restore support using carefully placed dermal filler — often starting higher in the face to create gentle lift before addressing the lines directly. I believe the most beautiful results come from restoring harmony and balance, not erasing the natural character that makes each face unique. The goal is always a softer, fresher version of you — never overfilled or unnatural. — Danielle x
